Teacher of the Year Award

You are invited to apply for the CVS-ACS Teacher of the Year Award! The application includes a letter of self-nomination—tell us who you are and why you love teaching chemistry! You should also mention your years of service. Two letters of support from colleagues or supervisors are also required. Applicants are to submit all their materials via email directly to Dr. Nicola Edwards (nicolaedwards@cvs-acs.org) by March 15, 2026. The winner of this award will be announced at the CVS-ACS symposium in April 2026 and will receive a $1000 honorarium. In addition, the winner’s school will be awarded $500 to be used for supporting the teaching of chemistry in that school. Please note that applicants are required to be CVS-ACS local section or AACT members.
