The ACS Green Chemistry Institute Pharmaceutical Roundtable (ACS GCIPR) is pleased to announce an upcoming workshop titled “Driving Sustainability in Pharma and Allied Industries,” taking place on October 16, 2025, at Takeda in Cambridge, MA.
This full-day event will bring together leading scientists from academia and industry to explore the latest advancements in sustainable pharmaceutical manufacturing.
The agenda features keynote presentations, technical talks, and interactive sessions on green chemistry tools, metrics, and innovations in biocatalysis, peptide synthesis, and discovery chemistry. Speakers include experts from MIT, Pfizer, Sanofi, Novartis, Biohaven, Boehringer Ingelheim, and more.
Students will benefit from:
Networking with professionals and peers across the pharmaceutical and chemical sectors
Gaining practical insights into green chemistry applications
Presenting their own research during the poster session and receiving expert feedback
Engaging in meaningful discussions on sustainability and innovation
Please note that registration is required and there is a small fee to attend. Lunch, coffee breaks, and a networking & poster reception are included. The deadline to submit a poster abstract is September 19, and general registration closes October 1.
